I also...know what parts your talking about as far as the messy part.

What do you think about the slowness to it? Its a bit slower than my regular stuff, but as far as a slower beat goes...any tips, or advice?

The sounds and your ideas are good, it just seems like it's a little bit repetitive, but just a little. I guess it's normal since it's a battle music.

Thanks. Yes, I'm aware that it's rather repetitive. Since it's modeled around the style of oldschool video game music, it ended up inheriting that characteristic. Doesn't entirely justify it, of course. ^^;
